We should be pursuing truth

The Daily Collegian has finally put the final nail in its own coffin with yesterday’s editorial.

The paper has continually rejected the notion of investigative journalism, has stifled any Board of Trustees opposition and has strategically chosen not to pursue the truth.

By claiming that “not reviewing the Freeh report is the right decision,” the Collegian has made itself a puppet of the Board of Trustees, and as such, irrelevant as a news publication. I’m sorry to say that I will not longer read the Collegian.

It was once a great publication.
