I have just finished reading the article regarding the Board of Trustees choosing to not review the Freeh report and, I must say, I am at a loss for words.
If I had ever written a report while in school, you better be sure my professor would be reviewing it for accuracy and content.
Why is this any different?
What the board is doing is another poor attempt to “move forward” without taking responsibility for anything.
How are we to “move forward” and make rules and procedures to follow, based on the Freeh report, if we don’t even review the findings on which those recommendations are being made? I am sorry but I, along with many of my fellow alumni, refuse to accept the Freeh report. We will not move forward until real accountability is finally taken by the trustees.
