Going above and beyond the punishing of a crime

I read an article in my local paper about the traditional student camp outside of Beaver Stadium and all the problems it encounters in being able to stay there.

I found the entire situation ridiculous and going completely overboard in relation to the tragedy of last fall.

How many more people are going to have to pay the price for one man’s crime? I was dumbfounded over the song “Sweet Caroline” by Neil Diamond being dropped. That is going to lead to no more Sloppy Joes, no collections for MDA, better known as Jerry [Lewis’] kids. You won’t be able to listen to Aerosmith, Rod Steward and, for the staff, Perry Como and Frank Sinatra.

Their lyrics are even more suggestive. This whole thing on eliminating things has gone overboard. Everyone should not be punished.
