The Black Keys

The Black Keys blues-rock albums have become a favorite to young and old, especially after this past year. The duo released “El Camino,” the seventh album from the band, and with hits like “Lonely Boy” and “Gold on the Ceiling,” there’s no wonder why they have had multiple songs on the iTunes top 200 for months now. The newest album has drawn in a large fan-base that will be standing behind them at the VMAs.F.un.

Frank Ocean

Frank Ocean has established himself in the industry this year. He has certainly become a musical favorite under the R&B genre. Ocean recently released an album titled “Channel Orange,” and his singles “Thinkin Bout You” and “Pyramids” have really drawn new fans to him.

Fun. blew up the airwaves this year with two smash hits: “We are Young” and “Some Nights.” Now currently on a worldwide tour (with a stop at the HUB-Robeson Center right before the tour commenced), the band surely marked its territory in the music industry with the upbeat tempos of their singles that surpassed today’s typical pop hits.
