Police investigating armed robbery on Bellaire Avenue

State College Police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred at 924 Bellaire Ave. on Tuesday between 9 and 9:30 a.m., according to a press release.

According to the release, two men forced their way into the apartment and stole an unspecified amount of cash and other property owned by the residents of the property.

Police have descriptions of the two men.

The first is described as a 5-foot-10 black male with short hair and a thin build. At the time of the robbery, this man was wearing a black polo shirt with a chest emblem and shorts made of sweatpants, according to the release.

The second man is described as 6-foot black male with a thin build and a beard on his chin that was six inches long, according to the release. The second suspect was wearing baggy clothing and carrying a pistol, according to the release.

After the robbery, both men entered an old, tan four-door car parked on Bellaire Avenue and drove from the scene, according the release.
