The Bryce Jordan Center announced Wednesday that house music producer Tiësto will perform on October 8 as part of his Club Life College Invasion Tour.
Bernie Punt, the BJC sales and marketing director, wrote in an email Wednesday that tickets for the show will go on sale at 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 26. Floor tickets are $45 for the general public and $35 for students, and the lower event level tickets are $30 for the general public and $20 for students, according to the website.
All tickets are general admission, and a valid Penn State student ID is needed to purchase the student tickets. Punt wrote the student discounted tickets are not available online.
Punt wrote tickets can be purchased at the BJC box office, Eisenhower Auditorium, the Penn State Downtown Theatre, Penn State Altoona Campus Ticket Outlet, online at ticketmaster.com, online at bjc.psu.edu or by calling the BJC at 814-865-5555.
Punt wrote Tiësto was booked for the fall due to the success of last year's electronic dance music events, such as Avicii, Sebastian Ingrosso and Alesso.
Tiësto, born Tijs Michiel Verwest, has worked with some of today's popular artists, including Katy Perry, Kanye West and Coldplay, according to Tiesto's official website.
Tiësto's Club Life podcast is available on iTunes, and his Club Life radio show can be heard on Sirius XM.
