Lions offense breaks through in win

In the sixth inning, the flood gates opened for the Penn State softball team

A four-run side for the Nittany Lions helped propel Penn State to a 6-2 victory over Saint Joseph's on Wednesday.

Four different Lions registered RBIs as pitcher Lisa Akamine held the line for Penn State

Akamine went the distance, scattering seven hits and fanning eight along the way.

Penn State will take on Stony Brook on Friday.
