Women's golf finishes 15th

The Penn State women's golf team finished the Rio Verde Collegiate with a total of 958 (+106) and a 15th-place finish overall.

Freshman Emily Ransone and junior Gia Fanelli were the top finishers for the Nittany Lions. Ransone and Fanelli both carded a three-round score of 236 (+23) and a tie for 43rd place overall. Michigan became the first team to win the tournament twice, finishing with a final score of 881 (+29). Michigan's Ashley Bauer won the individual title with a final score of 209 (-4). The Nittany Lions will play next week in Hilton Head, S.C., for the Low Country Intercollegiate. The tournament will take place from March 12-14.
