Students paused in the middle of the HUB-Robeson Center this afternoon, holding various poses from high-fives to hugs for four minutes.
The flash mob was held to raise awareness for the Interfraternity Council/ Panhellenic Dance Marathon and the Four Diamonds Fund.
"A lot of people don't understand the reality of what THON is and what the families deal with on a day-to-day basis," THON Public Relations Captain Lauren Bucci (senior-journalism) said.
Students hoped to change that with this event by wearing t-shirts with facts about pediatric cancer and the Four Diamonds Fund printed on the back, she said.
