The Nittany Lions wrapped up Sunday's Sprawl and Brawl Duals in dominating fashion, defeating No. 13 Edinboro 22-9.
The No. 17 Penn State wrestling team improved its record to 4-1 with the Lions' third victory of the day.
David Erwin's win at 184-pounds was his second critical victory in a key spot at the duals, after his major decision helped propel the Lions past Rutgers earlier in the day. Erwin defeated Edinboro's Pat Bradshaw to put the Lions up 16-9 with the 197-pound and heavyweight matches remaining.
Clay Steadman and Cameron Wade finished up a solid day for the Lions with two victories. Steadman won 2-0, while No. 19 Wade defeated No. 11 Chris Birchler, 9-2.
The Lions got off to hot start, jumping out to a 13-3 lead after Cyler Sanderson's major decision victory. In the bout at 125, No. 6 Brad Pataky scored a 4-0 victory over No. 8 Eric Morrill to jumpstart the Lions.
Tyler Saltsman and Frank Molinaro also earned wins for the Lions.
Penn State returns home for its next action Dec. 6 when it hosts the Nittany Lion Open.
