Men's volleyball wins exhibition

The Penn State men's volleyball team won its first exhibition match of the season, sweeping Nazareth College 30-15, 30-23, 30-16 this afternoon at Buffalo Niagra Court Center .

Coach Mark Pavlik used three different lineups in each of the games, and the Nittany Lions skated past the Divison III Golden Flyers, even without captain and returning All-American Will Price.

Price will be sidelined for the weekend -- three exhibition matches in the annual Preview to the Final Four tournament -- after spraining his ankle in practice last week.

Penn State faces off with Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne at 7 p.m. tonight, and then Loyola-Chicago tomorrow at noon to close out the weekend.
