Students are getting into the spirit of the Interfraternity Council/ Panhellenic Dance Marathon at the HUB-Robeson Center as part of the "100 Days 'Til Thon" celebration.
Students participated in various Thon-related activities throughout the beginning of the event, such as making cards for Thon kids and decorating Thonvelopes.
During the morning, students were able to participate in the 2009 line dance and were entertained by performances from various Penn State groups, including the Penn State cheerleaders.
"This concentrated energy for our dance marathon is really exciting," said Elyse Adams (senior-bioengineering and mechanical engineering), public relations overall chairwoman.
Following the event at the HUB, a silent rave will be held at 3:15 p.m. today on the Old Main lawn.
