Offense struggles as Lions fall to Buckeyes

Hours after Iowa lost, Penn State's Big Ten championship and BCS bowl hopes took a serious dent with a 24-7 loss to Ohio State.

In Beaver Stadium's 300th game, the Nittany Lions' offense was shutdown by Ohio State's defense, and a pair of 40-plus-yard punt returns set up two Buckeye touchdowns, including a back-breaking, 10-play, 47-yard drive to make it 24-7 in the fourth quarter.

Terrelle Pryor found success in his return trip to Pennsylvania, and tossed a 62-yard touchdown pass to DeVier Posey in the third quarter.

Daryll Clark, who entered the game as the Big Ten's most-efficient quarterback, completed 12-of-28 passes for 125 yards.
