Women's volleyball sweeps Badgers

The Penn State women's volleyball team won its 89th straight match with a sweep of Wisconsin in Madison Friday.

Senior outside hitter Megan Hodge led the team with 13 kills, while Alisha Glass posted 31 assists and six digs.

The Nittany Lions, who improved to 25-0 (13-0 Big Ten) with the win, didn't face much of a test in the first two sets, winning 25-15 and 25-13.

In the third set, the Lions took advantage of three late hitting errors on the Badgers to close the match on a 9-6 run, winning the final set 25-21.

The Lions travel to Iowa tomorrow for a matchup with the Hawkeyes, who took a set from the Lions in Happy Valley earlier in the season.
