Field hockey ends season with loss in Big Ten Tournament

Despite tying the game in the first half, the Nittany Lions were unable to stage a comeback.

The Penn State field hockey team ended its season with a 3-1 loss to third-seeded Indiana. Two second half goals downed the Lions, who will not compete in the Big Ten Tournament's championship game for the second consecutive year.

The seventh-seeded Lions were lead by freshmen Kelsey Amy who scored the team's lone goal and tallied her third score in two days. The Lions also received strong play in goal from junior Ali Meves who kept her team in the contest.
