Men's swimming taken down by Virginia Tech

The Penn State men's swimming and diving team was defeated by Virginia Tech 184-116 Saturday in a meet held at War Memorial Pool in Blacksburg, Va.

Sophomore Brian Alden and senior Basil Kaaki were able to come away with one individual win each, in addition to combining on another in the 400-yard freestyle relay.

Kaaki won the 100-yard butterfly by .35 seconds over Greg Mahon of Virginia Tech, and the group of Kaaki, Alden, freshman Graham Risley and senior Jon Cochrane took the 400 freestyle relay with a time of 3:04.85, beating a Virginia Tech team by .19 seconds.
