The Penn State field hockey team entered its game against Pacific looking for its first victory on the road and left with a 6-4 victory.
Behind two goals apiece from Daneen Zug and Kelsey Amy, the Lions (6-11, 1-4 Big Ten) beat the Tigers (3-9) on a neutral site at the University of Indiana.
After jumping out to an early lead, the Nittany Lions had to fight off the surging Tigers to notch the win.
Despite the Lions' three goals in the first period, the Tigers scored three of their own to tie the game during the 36th minute. Goals from Zug and Amy helped to break the tie.
The Lions close out the regular season at noon on Oct. 31 with a home game against Michigan State.
