Housing options abound on campus, in town

The perfect neighborhood is out there, somewhere, waiting for you. Go out and find it.

Off North Atherton
Many of the apartment complexes off North Atherton Street are within walking distance to Wal-Mart and offer amenities such as swimming and covered parking.

West Beaver, South Atherton
Housing in this area is a short walk from campus and downtown. A block from a White Loop stop and Subway. Offers a neighborhood feel, mixed in with single-family homes.

Off South Atherton
Housing off South Atherton Street offers an escape from downtown and campus life but is within walking distance from both. Also close to Hamilton Square Plaza Wine & Spirits.

South Pugh Street
This area boasts newer apartment buildings such as Nicholas Tower, which offers on-site parking and private balconies. Also close to Subway and Gumby's Pizza.

Central downtown
Located in the heart of downtown, these apartment buildings are within walking distance from just about everything -- including Redifer Commons and several eateries.

Beaver Canyon
Apartments in this area are close to both campus and downtown. Many buildings offer private balconies. Also close to downtown eating establishments like Canyon Pizza.

East College
Apartment buildings such as the Meridian and University Towers are within walking distance to the Bryce Jordan Center and Beaver Stadium and are right across the street from campus. Also close to Hooter's.

West Halls
Many say West Halls has the best dining commons, especially with their giant cookies. The commons is also home to organic coffee bar Sisu. Located right next to the Pattee and Paterno Libraries and across from Rec Hall.

North Halls
North Halls offers two- and four-person, suite-style and air conditioned rooms. Suitemates share a private bath. Close to The Palmer Museum of Art and The Playhouse Theatre. Home to Warnock Commons, which features the Blue Spoon Deli.

South Halls
South Halls offers several dining options, including Redifer Commons and healthy eating options at Simmons Dining Hall. Close to the HUB-Robeson Center, White Building, Thomas Building and Eisenhower Auditorium.

Pollock Halls
Special features in Pollock Halls include a computer lab, The Mix and rigaTony's. Blocks away from McCoy Natatorium, tennis courts and the HUB-Robeson Center.

East Halls
Most space in East Halls is reserved for first-year students. Covered walkways lead from the residence halls to Findlay/Johnston Commons. Close to the Berkey Creamery and within walking distance to Beaver Stadium and the BJC.

Eastview Terrace
Eastview Terrace offers single rooms with a private bath. A study/social space and laundry facilities are located in each house. Close to Redifer Commons and downtown.

Nittany Apartments
Upperclass students can live in two- and four-bedroom apartments and four-bedroom townhouses. Within walking distance of several dining and athletic facilities.
