University officials say a Penn State student reported missing Sunday has been found dead in a stairwell between Steidle Building and Hosler Building.

Penn State spokeswoman Lisa Powers said maintenance workers found Joseph Dado, 18, at 6 p.m. Monday. There was no evidence of foul play, Powers said.

It appears Dado fell about 15 feet to the concrete and appears to have sustained head trauma, she said.

The discovery comes after Dado was reported missing after last being seen at the Phi Gamma Delta (Fiji) fraternity early Sunday morning.
