A Penn State golfer was cited with public drunkenness at about 3 a.m. Monday, Penn State Police said.
Kevin T. Foley, of Somerville, N.J., consumed alcohol to the degree that he could no longer care for himself and was apprehended at the Atherton Hall bus stop near East College Avenue, police said.
Foley (senior-economics) finished first place in the Boilermaker Invitational and Lehigh Invitational last season and placed second in the Big Ten Men's Golf Championships.
