Penn State's 2010 game at Indiana to be played in D.C. area

The Penn State football team will play Indiana in the Washington, D.C. area next season.

The schools will clash on Nov. 20, 2010 at FedEx Field, home to the NFL's Washington Redskins.

The decision was announced today by Indiana athletic director Fred Glass. Indiana will be the home team and will receive a $3 million pay day.

The Hoosiers' back-to-back visits to Beaver Stadium in 2008 and this fall, coupled with next year's game in Landover, Md., will make it three straight years in which the Nittany Lions will not have played in Bloomington, Ind.

Penn State last played in Washington, D.C. area on Oct. 2, 1993, when it defeated Maryland 70-7.
