Police: Man expected to recover from fall

The Bellefonte man who fell from the third floor of a State College apartment Aug. 13 is expected to make a full recovery, the State College Police Department said

Matthew Beck, 19, is recovering from severe hip and facial injuries in his home after he fell from a University Towers apartment balcony, police said.

Beck was intoxicated when he jumped over the 458 E. College Ave. apartment balcony and hung from the railing as others tried to pull him back up, police said.

BJC student-only tickets on sale at noon

For students who would like the chance to see big-name acts for cheap, a student-only ticket sale will take place noon at the HUB-Robeson Center for events this fall at the Bryce Jordan Center.

Special ticket prices will be available for The Fray, Radio City Christmas Spectacular, Cirque du Soleil and more, as well as a special student pre-sale for the Oct. 24 WWE Supershow.

Lion Cash will be accepted. Tickets are for University Park students only.
