Work on bike route persists on Rt. 322

Roadwork will continue on Route 322, according to a press release from the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT).

Portions of Route 322 are part of designated "Bicycle PA" routes, and three bridges are being painted to remind motorists to be aware of bicycle riders, according to the release.

Work is being done on one side of the bridges at a time, and PennDOT forewarns motorists of lane restrictions, signage, slowed traffic and bicycle riders, according to the release. The release says the project is expected to be completed by fall.
