Charge dismissed against Collegian photographer

Charges were dismissed today against a Daily Collegian photographer who was cited by police while on assignment during the Oct. 25 downtown riot following the Penn State football team's victory against Ohio State.

Michael R. Felletter (senior-visual journalism) was charged with one misdemeanor count of failure to disperse, according to court documents.

Judge David Grine dismissed the charges because of the Commonwealth's failure to establish sufficient evidence, according to the opinion handed down by the court.
