State College folk rock band The Rustlanders will replace Sugarland as the opening act in tonight's Keith Urban concert, according to the Bryce Jordan Center Web site.
According to the band's MySpace, The Rustlanders combine elements of rock, country, blues and R&B to create "good ol' Rock n' Roll," and cite The Rolling Stones and Tom Petty as influences.
The band will take the stage at 7:30 tonight followed by Urban, a country rock performer who is currently on his Escape Together World Tour.
Sugarland pulled out of the show after lead singer Jennifer Nettles came down with an illness that has inhibited her from performing for at least two weeks, according to a statement released by the Bryce Jordan Center.
