Senior forward Jamelle Cornley is day-to-day and doctors will have the final say if he can play Saturday afternoon against Iowa, coach Ed DeChellis said Friday on a teleconference.
Cornley, who aggravated a shoulder injury he's dealt with since his sophomore year in Thursday night's 64-63 win against No. 23 Illinois, was limited in Friday's practice in Iowa City.
DeChellis said the injury wasn't a dislocation but similar to a stinger in football.
The Lions' senior captain averages 14 points and 6.4 rebounds per game.
