Women's diving team closes out Tennessee Diving Invitational

After nearly a month without a meet, the Penn State women's diving team finished its three-day competition at the Tennessee Diving Invitational. As part of their winter training trip, the Nittany Lions competed against numerous NCAA and several SEC teams during the competition.

The Lions went into the competition with the hopes of improving their technique and were excited to dive against some southern teams. Lions senior, Courtney Adlam, had a strong showing with a 12th place finish on the women's three-meter springboard.

The Lions had 5 divers in the three-meter competition and while Adlam was the only one to reach the finals, sophomore Megan Marco and freshman Margaret Alderman finished with high marks. Marco earned a 216.9, while Alderman landed a 212.85.

Adlam also earned a 217.65 on the one-meter dives, while sophomore Ilana Zeises finished with a high mark of 201.3.

The diving team will continue their training in the south, while the swimming team continues to do the same in Naples, Florida.
