Vegetarians are no different than those who eat meat

In his letter, "Hunters should consider vegetarian options for diet" (Dec. 3), J.R. Murdock rants about the life of deer and how they shouldn't be killed and eaten and that hunters should eat vegetables. The flaw in this thinking is that, last I checked, vegetables are living things too. Just because your food doesn't make noise before you eat it doesn't make you any better than the people who choose to eat meat so please get down off your high horse and realize that you are no different then those who chose to eat meat.
