Good luck to Nittany Lions, congrats on winning season

I was kicked out of the David Letterman Show on Thursday, Nov. 20, for cheering for Penn State. After his opening monologue, Letterman compared the record and ranking of his Ball State Cardinals with other major college football teams, including the Nittany Lions. After crowds cheers for USC, Nebraska and Ohio State, Letterman made fun of Penn State's 10-1 record, not once but three times.

A large group cheered for the Lions the first time, a smaller group the second time, but I was about the only one left cheering at the third time. I few minutes later, I was kicked out for my loyalty. As a life-long Penn State fan and a soldier and veteran of the war in Iraq, there are two things for which I will always cheer -- the Penn State Nittany Lions and the U.S. Army. While I am saddened that I was thrown out of the show, I am steadfast in my loyalties. Great job on a fantastic season, Lions and good luck at the Rose Bowl.
