After reading "Break chance for hometown flings" (Nov. 18), I wondered two things. The first is: What prompted a ridiculous fluff article like this? The second is: Don't people have better things to do with their holiday break than try to mate with losers from high school? Why not use this time to make yourself a more mature and worthwhile person to be with and enrich your life, instead of deadening yourselves with someone you couldn't care less about and potentially mediocre in the sack? Why not volunteer a few days with a local charity, or invite someone to eat with your family, or how about reading a book? I suggest starting with Lady Chatterley's Lover for the truly desperate.
