The first item of business for President Obama is to demand college playoffs. I am sick and tired of college rankings being determined by sports editors, TV directors and sports broadcasters. Some sports editor wrote an article stating USC should be ranked No. 1. Who was their toughest team this year, Sacramento Community College?

In science, do King Louis III and King Henry II determine the laws of physics that we follow? Maybe they did in the Middle Ages, but now they have to be verified with experiments and tests, otherwise it is not science.

In business, are trading prices set in Wall Street by business editors from the Wall Street Journal? No, supply and demand and competition on the trading floor set the prices.

My friends, it is time to get college football out of the Middle Ages, and retire the power of King sports writer and King TV director from deciding who the best team is. Let the teams have playoffs, and may the team who wins truly be the best team. It is time for change and I demand it now.
