Celebrations unnecessary, mirror ones at West Virginia

It usually bothers me to see crotchety old alumni writing to the Collegian, complaining about current student's sportsmanship. However, after hearing about the destruction of State College following the Ohio State win, I can't help but criticize the students who tried to ruin our home.

Tearing down light posts, damaging cars, and worst of all lighting fires, puts us in a class with the West Virginia University riots; a fan base that celebrates burning couches. In the court of public opinion, this is the bottom of the barrel. Enjoy the season, celebrate every win, but don't smear our university in the process.
