Ten College Republicans traveled to Johnstown Saturday morning to see Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin speak at the Cambria County War Memorial Arena.
Palin -- who was joined by children Willow, Piper and Trig -- spoke about abortion, the economy, energy independence and being a hockey mom.
Palin said she believed there was a strong showing of hockey moms for Republican presidential candidate John McCain in the arena, which is home to the Johnstown Chiefs. She is scheduled to drop the puck at the Wachovia Center when the Philadelphia Flyers host the New York Rangers tonight, she added, which welcomed some booing from the largely western Pennsylvanian audience.
"Hey, I'll take any NHL I can get," Palin said in her defense.
