Problem itself is abortion, not images that deal with it

In response to Bridget Belfied's letter, "Accuracy, common respect not shown at HUB protest" (Oct. 9), I would like to ask why displaying pictures of "dead babies" is "extremely offensive?" Ms. Belfield writes that, "if you have something to say, say it." I agree. I also think that if you have something to show, then you should show it.

Contrary to the increasing popular belief, there are some moral truths in this world. One of them is that the direct killing of innocent human life is wrong. Adoption is always an option. So, I support displaying images of the end result of a procedure that is unfortunately legal in way too many circumstances. Perhaps the problem is not with the people showing the end result of a procedure, but with the procedure itself.
