The State College Post Office will hold a passport fair from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the main office on 237 S. Fraser St. to allow people to apply for passports.
Effective Oct. 1, 2007, all U. S. citizens traveling by air to Canada, Mexico, Bermuda and the Caribbean countries must present a passport to enter or depart from the United States, according to a press release from the United States Postal Service.
It takes between four and six weeks to process a passport and less than three weeks for expedited passport service, according to the release.
