Koroma, Evans do not make trip to Syracuse

Suspended Penn State defensive linemen Abe Koroma and Maurice Evans did not travel with the team to Syracuse, Penn State sports information director Jeff Nelson said.

Nelson did not specify why the players did not travel.

Their suspension stems from an incident when police said they found marijuana at the Nittany Apartment where the two live.

Tight end Andrew Quarless , who was originally suspended but dressed for the Oregon State game, is on the trip to Syracuse.

With Koroma and Evans out, coach Joe Paterno said on his radio show Thursday that he moved offensive lineman Mike Lucian to defense to help provide depth.
