Blue Oyster Cult to perform at Theatre

The classic-rock band Blue Oyster Cult will take the stage at the State Theatre, 130 W. College Ave., on Nov. 12. Tickets go on sale at 11 a.m. today.

Blue Oyster Cult has sold more than 14 million records world-wide and is best known for its single "(Don't fear) The Reaper." For those unfamiliar with the band, Will Ferrell's famous SNL sketch of "More Cowbell" is actually parodied off of the bands hit song and it's use of a cowbell.

Tickets are $36 and the show is for patrons 14 years and older. The show will begin at 8 p.m.
