Tickets are now on sale for the Tour of Gymnastic Superstars which will be
visiting State College, one of 36 cities, during their nationwide tour, said Bernie Punt, director of sales and marketing for the Bryce Jordan Center. Tickets are available at the BJC or through Ticketmaster, Punt said. The tour will take place Oct. 24 at 7 p.m., Punt
said.
A sports and music extravaganza, the event will feature Jordan Pruitt
and KSM, a few musicians whose musical popularity has been compared to the same
potential that led The Jonas Brothers to stardom, Punt said. Just back from
China, the U.S. gymnastics team will also be featured at the event; these
champions will be able to experiment and have more fun demonstrating their
talents because they won't be restricted by Olympic regulations, Punt said.
The event is part of a two month long nationwide tour. "State College was lucky
enough to be chosen because there is a strong gymnastic audience in central
Pennsylvania," Punt said.
