I am appalled by the comparison of Israel to the African Apartheid. These are two separate places with different problems. This is not a case of race discrimination; Israel and Palestine are fighting over land, and this is not a one-sided fight. Yes, there are times when Israeli restrictions seem cruel, and then we are reminded why they exist. In just three weeks time, two separate Palestinian men chose to drive construction vehicles into cars and people with the intent to kill. It is unfair to say that Israel is completely at fault for the slow progress. Peace negotiations are stronger than they have been in years and in no way is this a brief and simple process, but boycotting Israel will not make peace come more quickly.
