Drilling for oil domestically won't affect prices soon

Simply drilling for oil domestically doesn't necessarily make oil prices lower.

The Energy Information Administration, a federal organization, recently published a study showing that under ideal conditions, drilling in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge would lower prices by $1.44 by 2027.

It also said that drilling in larger areas off the coast wouldn't change prices until 2030.

With that in mind, how can one say that domestic drills can solve oil dependency?

The time has come for change not only in the technology of our automobiles but also for a massive shift in the way Americans live.

We've been driving cheaply for far too long. It's time for Americans to live the way the rest of the world has been living for years.
