Arrington editorial writing was pompous and childish

Your editorial, "Suggestions for stellar scene setting" (July 10), is an embarrassment to the Penn State community.

To take unwarranted attacks against alumni who have been a credit to the university and have suffered debilitating injuries in their chosen professions is pathetic.

It contained sophomoric writing and was completely pointless. These alumni have accomplished more than the author, whose life has yet to begin. It was pompous with no basis and contained immaturity that he or she should hope to overcome before leaving PSU.
