Penn State basketball player Stanley Pringle waived his formal arraignment Tuesday for charges related to an alleged incident in the stacks section of Pattee Library on March 27.
A woman said that a man, later identified by police as Pringle, began masturbating after attempting to start a conversation with her in the stacks section of the library, according to court documents. Pringle is now facing charges of public lewdness and disorderly conduct.
Pringle is scheduled to appear at his pretrial conference on July 22, according to court documents.
The Virginia Beach native played in every game for the Nittany Lions last season. He averaged 6.9 points per game and was second on the team in steals with 29.
