Like it or not, politics are intimate part of Olympics

I'll have no problem with whoever does or does not boycott the summer games in China. The fact is, the games are very much intertwined in politics, major multinational corporations and greed.

China has an atrocious human rights record and still has powerful repressive impulses because they are communists. Their action in Tibet is sinful, barbaric and disgusting. My only regret is the torch is not running through my hometown, as I'd probably throw a javelin, shot put, basketball or discus at it.

I have no problem with anyone's boycott -- I plan a total personal boycott of China's summer Olympic games. I will not watch a minute of it.
