Give football ticket priority to those most likely to go

When it comes to football tickets, the issue isn't whether University Park students "think they are better" than the rest of the commonwealth campus students. The fact of the matter is that the games are played at Beaver Stadium, which happens to be located at University Park campus.

Most commonwealth campus students aren't willing to make the trip up to University Park every weekend. By giving commonwealth campus students an equal opportunity to buy tickets, Penn State is basically allowing people who know that they aren't going to come up to every game to purchase season tickets just so that they can resell them and make a quick dollar.

I'm glad that commonwealth campus students want to come up and experience Penn State football. But when most of them are only coming up for one or two games every season, does it make sense that they can buy tickets over someone here that would go to all of them?
