Sen. Barack Obama, D-Ill., will be speaking at Penn State on Sunday morning at 11:30 on the Old Main lawn, two sources close to the campaign confirmed today.
As part of his tour across Pennsylvania, Obama will be making a stop in State College, Greg Stewart, co-chair of Obama's Pennsylvania field team, said.
Michael Stewart, president of Penn State Students for Barack Obama, also confirmed Obama's appearance and said it is a direct result of his organization registering 5,400 Penn State students as Democrats.
Additional information about Obama's appearance Sunday will be released tonight.
Check tomorrow's Daily Collegian for further details.
