Group rate offered for Fergie tickets

Tickets for Grammy-winning recording artist Fergie's performance, as part of the Gridiron Bash on April 18 at Beaver Stadium, now cost $24 each for groups of 10 or more, wrote Hillary Lewis, the University Park Undergraduate Association (UPUA) president, in an e-mail.

Single tickets for the performance are $41 and can be purchased at www.GoPSUsports.com/tickets, www.gridironbash.com and ticketmaster.com.

Also, UPUA will allow students to enter their names to win free tickets during today's elections, Lewis wrote.

Beaver Stadium's first-ever concert will give Penn State students and fans the chance to compete against other major universities to earn $1 million in scholarship funding. So far, according to the Gridiron Bash Web site, Penn State is in third place with Alabama University in first place and Texas A&M in second. Students can find voting information for voting online or via text message at www.gridironbash.com.
