Pryor picks Ohio State

JEANNETTE - Terrelle Pryor, the nation's top high school football recruit, will attend Ohio State.

At a press conference in his high school auditorium, Pryor unzipped a black jacket to reveal a white t-shirt with red block letters that spelled "BUCKEYES."

As for Penn State, Pryor said it wasn't the place for him.

"I don't like the area," he said. "It's a country type of thing and I just don't like that."

Pryor, a highly sought after quarterback, said he is looking forward to playing a Tim Tebow-type role at Ohio State next season because the Buckeyes' starting quarterback, Todd Boeckman, will return.

Tebow, last year's Heisman Trophy winner from Florida, did not start his freshman season but played frequently.
