PSU to host climate change teach-in

Penn State will host one of more than 1,770 teach-ins occurring nationwide from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. today in the HUB Auditorium in a widespread effort to educate people on the issue of climate change and global warming.

Penn State's "Focus the Nation" event will feature professors and presenters from the university, including the three Penn State professors who share the Nobel Prize with Al Gore for their research about climate change.

Seth Baum, lead organizer, said he hopes students come out with a better understanding of climate change and humanity's response.
