Woman arraigned for allegedly dealing

A local woman was arraigned Friday on allegations that she was dealing cocaine in the Centre Region.

Melissa A. Ulinksi, of 338 Vairo Boulevard, is charged in two separate cases with eight counts of possession with intent to deliver, three counts of criminal use of a communication facility and one count each of possession of cocaine and criminal conspiracy, according to court documents.

The State College Police Department said Ulinksi, 20, delivered about 3.5 grams of cocaine, worth about $250, to a confidential informant at 445 Waupelani Drive on Jan. 4. Police also accused her of selling between 3 and 5 grams of cocaine to a confidential informant on Jan. 11 and Jan. 24.

Ulinski was arraigned in front of District Judge Jonathan Grine and sent to Centre County Prison in lieu of $50,000 straight bail in the first case and $100,000 straight bail in the other.

Man charged with criminal trespassing

Police charged a University of Maryland-Baltimore County track and field runner with criminal trespassing, criminal mischief, harassment and underage drinking yesterday.

The State College Police Department said Keith Onto, 19, of Point Pleasant, N.J., entered an unlocked apartment in University Gateway, 616 E. College Ave., at 7:46 a.m. yesterday and awoke the tenants when he began urinating on a bedroom floor.

He then struck a male tenant in the face and was arrested while leaving the apartment. He registered a blood-alcohol content of .12, police said.

Onto was in State College for the Penn State National Invitational this weekend and did not know the tenants of the apartment, police said.

He was released on $20,000 unsecured bail.

Police Log:

Criminal mischief: The general manager for the Drexel University hockey team will be cited for criminal mischief after the team caused unspecified damages to the Ramada Inn, 1450 S. Atherton St., at about 3 a.m. Sunday, the State College Police Department said.

Police did not release a damage estimate.

Assault: A man will be charged with simple assault in connection with a fight at the Cedarbrook Apartment complex, 320 E. Beaver Ave., the State College Police Department said. Police did not release any further details.

Drug and Liquor Law Violation: At about 11 p.m. Friday, a resident assistant reported the odor of burning marijuana coming from a room at Tener Hall, Penn State Police said. After a warrant was obtained, police said a search revealed a small amount of marijuana, prescription pills, alcohol and various items prohibited by university regulations. Charges have yet to be filed.

Theft: A Penn State employee reported the theft of a garbage container from the HUB-Robeson Center at about 7 p.m. Friday, Penn State Police said. The lost container is valued at about $600.
