It's OK to not wear sports team's colors to all games

The amount of fair-weather fans we see on this campus is ridiculous. Every Saturday this fall, I have seen many students wearing blue and white Penn State football jerseys and T-shirts.

Where are all these people on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday of each week?

Let's use some common sense here, people. There are 162 games in the regular season of Major League Baseball.

I do not have nearly enough quarters for laundry to be able to wear my Phillies' gear on every game day. I wear it when it's clean, and on the day of a big event, like each time we swept the Mets.

For the Phillies' fans, the day after we make the playoffs for the first time in 14 years is certainly a day to wear the red and blue.

Oh, I am sure it was a coincidence that there was 10 times the number of N.Y. Giants' jerseys this Monday than on a usual weekday.
